In this episode Layne continues to progress in strength and hits 420 x 5 on squats and 545 x 5 on rack pulls. A few of his nagging injuries surface again and interfere with his bench press training. These injuries have dropped his bench press to 315 pounds, but he can’t focus on what he can’t control. The only thing he can do is to put his head down and continue working towards stepping on the powerlifting platform.
