Growth Hormone Does Not Grow Muscle

Posted:

Growth Hormone has been claimed to be a muscle building hormone by many in the fitness industry. In fact, it is so widely accepted that growth hormone builds muscle that many proponents of various nutritional and training approaches have attempted to prove their superiority to other programs by highlighting their diet/training effects on growth hormone. As I demonstrate in this video, these claims are not supported by data, and furthermore, GH even when administered in large doses does not appear to increase muscle hypertrophy, only connective tissue mass and total body water.
