Key points:

  • Begin with feet standing shoulder width apart, glutes engaged and the cable pulled between your legs
  • Keep your back flat and neutral on the negative portion of the exercise, allowing your hamstrings to feel a stretch as you descend
  • Focus on keeping your hips underneath you at the top of the rep, to fully engage the glutes and hamstring
